Cassandra D’Andrea is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. Through self-learning and schooling, she fostered an interest in animal welfare, conservation, and sustainable living. Aside from science, Cassandra has a diverse background in the performing and visual arts. If not studying in a library, she enjoys playing various musical instruments, photography, and baking. She lives in Toronto, Ontario with two turtles, as well as a dog, who she goes on adventures with, in rain or shine.
Education and research opportunities that include field work are being impacted; but it isn’t all bad news, writes Cassandra D’Andrea.
University student Cassandra D’Andrea is questioning what daily choices she can make to help the planet – without breaking the bank.
